Mother, Artist, Gypsy, Hermit.
I don't remember when I first started creating, I just remember always painting or drawing or coloring something. It's my soul and my passion. I can't imagine not being able to paint. To dance a brush across a canvas. To swirl color into shapes and patterns. To breath life into realities born from my imagination.
Aside from painting, I enjoy blowing bubbles, dancing barefoot in the rain and making cats smile. I grow my own herbs and vegetables and love gardening almost as much as painting. I believe in magik and love and true happiness because I believe we make them ourselves.
What is art ?
Well, to me, art is anything you're moved to create or anything that moves you.
I see art in a smiling baby or in a foal stretching it's legs for the first time. I hear art when the wind blows thru the trees or a child laughs. I taste art in good food or a glass of clear cool water.
Art is music and paint and written words.
It's red sue heads and dappled bathroom walls.
It's the sun rising and setting.
It's ancient glyphs on a cool cave wall.
It is the cool cave wall.
We are each a piece of the finest art and we're all artists on the grandest scale.
